Log for November 6-November 10, 2006

Monday, November 6

Today, we had a surprise party for Mrs. Turner! It was her 21st birthday. Everyone chipped in and bought a book and cake for the party. Mrs. Turner was soo surprised. Then we did Lifeline Presentations and Gayle’s log presentation. Michael went first and told us about life as a test tube baby and being ripped like the Govenator.

Tuesday, November 7

No School because of Election day!!!!!

Wednesday, November 8

We tried to finish up Lifeline Presentations today. Here are some funny comments from the presentations: “Viv, you know those bad people”-Bufis, “Coloring outside the lines is hard”-Christina, and finally we all learned about Jonathan’s blanket.

Thursday, November 9

First, we went to take our Teacher Cadet picture for the yearbook! Then we finally finished up the Lifeline Presentations and turned in our high pot and best in show. Then we started talking about our preschool unit.

Friday, November 10

We started our preschool unit today. We talked about what a good preschool environment was and went over the stages of development. We also talked about play and Piaget again. We told a lot of funny stories about when we were kids. Then we got our homework assignment; toy shopping!!!

My favorite part of the week was presenting my lifeline project. My least favorite part was not being in Teacher Cadets on Tuesday.
