The first three days of this week were work days and make up observation days. Most people worked on decorating their Christmas trees and getting ready for the MES kindergarteners to come visit on Friday.

On Thursday, we all took a trip over to MES to visit out buddies for Christmas. We read lots of books and gave them our Christmas presents we got for them, including their green t-shirt that match ours!

During the week we read an article called "The Seven Gifts of Teaching." This article talked about universal gifts seen in all teachers. We wrote a letter to the teacher who we saw some of these gifts in to let them know that we appreciate all they do for us.

Friday was the day all of the kindergarten students came to Mauldin High for "Reading Around the Christmas Tree." Each class rotated around to read at each tree. When they finished, they went to have cookies and juice and to get a present from our Santa Mav. It turned out to be tons of fun for everyone involved!
