Hi Everyone!
I feel like after Spring Break, I have been completely "out of it." We have had several family emergencies that have really messed up my visiting schedule - and blog posting. Many apologies. I have enjoyed reading the posts that you have shared. I look forward to more. Kate - thank you for taking the lead on posting last week. I will post pictures from my visit soon! Click below to leave your best memories from week 5. Love you all!

My best experience this week was watching my kids do the zumba moves and sing along with "Fire Burning". It was so cute and they all had a really awesome time!!
My worst experience this week was when I almost had to give my kids a tally mark on the board for being to rambunctious.

My best experience was spending 3 hours with the students on Tuesday, which was career day for them! We met a physical therapist, school secretary, dance teacher, and nurse. The dance teacher had students dancing and making up their own moves! It was a fun experience and awesome to see everyone so excited to dance!
I didn't have a bad experience this week!! Everyone was well behaved while I was with them :)
At Beth: Career day sounds amazing!! The physical therapist sounds like an interesting career to learn about and the dancing sounds like a lot of fun!!

I didn't really get to do much this past week because of HSAP testing. Tuesday was first period testing and I only had 10 students left in my class and they watched movies while I graded homework and quizzes for 3 hours! Then I lost my voice again on Friday, so Mrs. Shea had to teach the lesson I was supposed to teach. I was so upset cause I spent all week planning it and then couldn't even talk enough to take roll!

Kate: All the students kept asking the physical therapist about breaking bones and having to get a cast. So many students asked, the therapist had to ask them not to bring that up again. She also explained she doesn't deal with patients with a cast, but helps patients that have had a cast on and need help rebuilding muscles in the area to promote movement again. It was quite entertaining to see the students' interaction during career day!
Buffy: Oh no!! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I hope you get to feeling better and able to teach soon!
For the week of April 16- 20
I didn't get do to much this week because of HSAP testing.
However, my best experience this week was when two students came up to me and told me that I was going to be a good teacher and they couldn't wait for the lesson I was going to teach them Wednesday.
I didn't have a worst experience this week because it was so short.
Buffy- I'm sorry to hear about your voice. It sucks that you spent that time planning and you couldn't even do it.
Beth- Your kids sound sooo cute! The physical therapist story made me laugh.
The first day this week was neat because of the three hours I got to see more than I usually see. I love the excitement from the kids when they found out I got to stay longer and why. They find my high school life so interesting.
Ms. Lide and I got to talking about my lesson and this kind of stresssed me out which probably wasn't my most favorite thing of the week.
Kate- I would have loved to see your kids do zumba. I bet that was just precious!
Buffy-I'm sorry about your voice that seems to happen a lot:(

My best experience this week was recess. The kids after hearing that I was staying for lunch all asked if I was going to play soccer at recess with them and of course I said yes! So I learned later that there was like one team, and all you did was pass the ball and shoot past the wall. So I had to show them all I had, so I nailed a ball and hit the wall, but I slipped into the mud and bruised my knee haha.
I didnt have a bad experience this week, everyone was really well behaved!
Buffy - Sorry to hear about your voice
Zac
