1. The physical differences were the older kids were much taller and there was more of a variety in body types.
2. Well obviously the older kids were learning harder things but 10 year olds just know more and they have more of an attitude. They are beginning to stick up for themselves and know the difference between right and wrong. I saw a couple of kids trying to cheat on their math test in my third grade class. The teacher did too.
3. These kids are kind of mean. They already are forming social groups and I could see a couple of kids got made fun of a lot. It made me really sad. Also their is the "cool" factor now. I saw that especially during the exercise time. The "cool" kids only did it half way.
4. The older class was much stricter because the kids knew right from wrong. The class was pretty good, there weren't many trouble-makers. Also, its harder to catch trouble makers in the older class because the kids don't look as guilty as they did when they were younger. They have learned how to hide their guilt.
5. The preschool kids were adorable and cute and sweet. These kids are cute and sweet but they have more knowledge than the preschoolers. Also the preschoolers were much more hectic.

1. Physically, students grow taller and grow closer to puberty. Some girls may even start their growth spurt.
2. The 10 year olds start to learn more abstract things-the third graders were doing algebraic word problems-they just didn't know it!
3. Socially, children begin to be more picky about their friends at ages 9-10. They do not get along with everybody like they used to. Some students are bullied or laughed at.
4. The younger kids were not disciplined as hard. They were asked to stop and most obeyed immediately. The older kids needed more prodding and possibly further action such as a note to a parent to accomplish good discipline.
5. These children do not get to play in school anymore. They may do learning games, but nothing like the preschoolers. Elementary students must use their time for more academics rather than play.

1. 10 year olds are bigger than the six year olds.
2. 10 years olds are solving word problems. 6 year olds are still adding and subtracting.
3. 10 year olds pay more attention to the teacher than younger students.
4. Some teachers are strict while others are very relaxed which cause problems in the classroom.
5. The older children are more developed and are learning even faster because of their development.

1. The ten year olds were much larger in size, with different body types.

2. The six year olds were concerned with learning more basic things, such as numbers, letters, simple words. The older classes were dealing with more complex math, writing, higher level reading.

3. The older kids interacted more with the opposite sex, and with larger groups of kids.

4. Many involved flipping a card, or writing their names on the board.

5. They're much more advanced, in all ways. It's amazing how quickly the children seem to grow.

1.) The physical difference I noticed weer the kids were not as small as before.
2.) The difference intelectually between the 6 and 10 year olds are that the 10 year olds were more on there own than were the 6 year olds. The 10 year olds had actually bell work and it was a lot, unlike just drawing a picture or something. Also the class time that I did attend was more indepth work.
3.) The social development of kids 9 and 10 are more open than when they were yonger, they also had more of a senority complex, or thought they were better than everyone else.
4.) I noticed that if you forget your homework, they take a ticket. The tickets are used at the end of the week to buy random stuff at this imaginary "store".
5.) I would have to say the major changes I've seen between preschoolers and pre-middle schoolers are that the pre-middle schoolers are more independant, and are more open. They aren't afraid to talk during class time and they don't need help when doing things as much as preschoolers do.
